Dr. Monika Doblin is an expert in Plant Cell Walls, from La Trobe University in Australia. Her work in beta-glucans made important contributions to the understanding on biosynthesis of cellulose and cellulose like polymers in plants. Her talk will focus on how fundamental research in cell wall biosynthesis can contribute to the design of easier to use plant biomass.
