International One Health Symposium – Microbiomes in soil, plant, animal and human health

The Interfaculty Research Cooperation “One Health: Cascading and Microbiome-Dependent Effects on Multitrophic Health”, University of Bern, is investigating how environmental chemicals such as heavy metals, pesticides and plant secondary metabolites affect microbial communities and health at the interfaces between soils, plants, animals and humans.

The following leading scientists investigating soil, plant and gut microbiomes and their links to host and environmental health, will speak during this symposium:
