EPS company visit to BASF|Nunhems – 23 Nov 2023
The EPS company visit to BASF|Nunhems on November 2nd has been rescheduled to November 23rd due to a very unfortunate situation.
The new deadline to register is 21st of November or until all available spots have been filled.
Not all PhD candidates who had registered for the original visit will be able to attend on this new date, which means that 10-15 spots opened up for new attendees.
The program will remain the same and includes scientific talks of BASF|Nunhems research, as well as a tour of the cutting-edge breeding greenhouses, and a visit to the molecular breeding laboratories. At the end of the program, there will be an opportunity for informal interaction with the scientists working at BASF|Nunhems. A more detailed program will follow. Transportation by bus will be arranged from Ede-Wageningen train station & Radix (WUR), to Nunhem. Additional transportation costs to these locations will also be covered.
All EPS PhD candidates who are interested in plant breeding with high performance breeding techniques on the molecular level are invited to sign up again for this company visit. Registering for this event can be done via this link.
Please remember that the deadline for registration is Tuesday, 21st of November and that there are limited spots for this event, so register as soon as you can! The first ones to register will fill the spots that became available. We will close the registration when the maximum is reached.
