Erik Poelman appointed as professor holding a personal chair

Erik Poelman was appointed as professor holding a personal chair  by the Executive Board of Wageningen University and Research. 2004 received Poelman his PhD in the Entomology chair group of the Plant Sciences Group, where he was since 2017 associated Professor and now holds a personal chair.

Poelman is known for his successful work as a scientist nationally and internationally with research into the defensive strategies of plants attacked by insects as well as the natural-selection-driven evolution of plants, insects, and their attack and defence strategies.
