We are very happy to invite you to the first meeting of SKiPR: Sharing Knowledge in Photosynthesis Research!

Together with colleagues of chair groups from Plant Sciences Group (PSG), Agrotechnology & Food Sciences Group (AFSG) and Environmental Sciences Group (ESG) from Wageningen University & Research, we have set up a new seminar and discussion group on photosynthesis, in which we hope to share knowledge on all things photosynthesis, stimulate collaborations and expand our networks. The group is aimed at researchers working on all forms of – or related to – photosynthesis research, from MSc student to professor, as well as those in the applied research part of WUR.

During the kick-off meeting we will present an overview of the photosynthesis work done here in Wageningen and introduce some areas of expertise. After that, there is time for interaction and to give your input for the upcoming meetings (e.g. topics, speakers, etc.) accompanied by some drinks and networking!

These meetings will be hosted once per month, on the last Thursday of the month, from 15:00-17:00. Future SKiPR meetings will be as follows:

During the first hour we will have a seminar given by (inter)national speaker on photosynthesis or a closely related topic, whereas the second hour is planned for discussion or a specific workshop in an informal setting of everyday problems or struggles for those fortunate enough to be working in the field of photosynthesis
