The EPS PhD Council is organising a company visit to BASF Nunhems on Friday 25th of October. The company is mainly focused on crop breeding. During the visit, you will be introduced into the structure and work of the company.

Program

12.00-13.00 – Arrival at BASF Nunhems
13.30-16.00 – Presentation and company tour
16:00-16:30 – Ending of activities and bus leaves from BASF Nunhems

Travel by bus to BASF Nunhems will be arranged. Details about the exact departure times and lunch will be provided later.

Bus from Groningen -> Wageningen -> Nijmegen -> BASF Nunhems and back

8:00 – Bus leaves from Groningen (Nijenborgh 7)
10:00 – Bus leaves from Wageningen (Droevendaalsesteeg 1)
10:30 – Bus leaves from Nijmegen  (Heyendaalseweg 135)

Bus from Amsterdam -> Leiden -> Utrecht -> BASF Nunhems and back

8:00 – Bus leaves from Amsterdam (Science Park 904)
8:45 – Bus leaves from Leiden (Sylviusweg 72)
9:30 – Bus leaves from Utrecht (Padualaan 8)

Note: This event is free of charge for registered EPS PhD students with an approved iTSP, but upon ‘no show’ or late cancellation a fee (€50) will be charged. Cancellation of registration for the company visit can be done until 21th of October.
