EPS PhD candidates visit BASF Nunhems

On Friday October 25 a group of PhD candidates visited the company BASF Nunhems, located in the Dutch province of Limburg. While enjoying drinks and snacks, students could listen to talks about the structure and goals of this vegetable breeding company and about what it is like to work at a breeding company. Moreover, students could speak with employees. After these talks, the company provided a tour through their growth facilities and laboratories.

Ivo Gariboldi (Leiden University) and Ties Ausma (University of Groningen), who organized the visit on behalf of the EPS PhD council, would like to thank BASF Nunhems for their great efforts in hosting us!
