Research in projects

Download the 'EPS Research in Projects' listing of 1 January 2002.

Theme 1: Developmental Biology of Plants
The research within this theme aims at elucidating the molecular and cellular bases of the processes that govern plant development. Read more

Theme 2: Interactions between Plants and Biotic Agents
Molecular, biochemical and physiological studies on plant-pathogen and plant-herbivore interactions are a major field of research within the graduate school. Read more

Theme 3: Metabolism and Adaptation
The central role of plants in nature is based on the fact that plants and plant-based products are essential nutrition elements for man and animals or starting material for chemical-industrial activity, both for food and non-food applications. Read more

Theme 4: Genome Plasticity
Genetic information plays a pivotal role in the growth and development of all organisms, including plants. Differences in genetic composition lead to bio-diversity in nature, and provide the basis for plant breeding. Read more
