Welcome to the 1^st Joint Retreat of the PhD Students
in Experimental Plant Sciences

We are pleased to announce the 1^st Joint Retreat of the PhD Students in Experimental Plant Sciences which will take place 2^ndand 3^rd of October 2008, in Wageningen, The Netherlands.
The retreat is organised by PhD students from the French doctoral school Sciences du Végétale (SDV), the German International Max Planck Research School (IMPRS) in Cologne and the Dutch graduate school Experimental Plant Sciences (EPS).

The programme will cover talks about Molecular Plant Genetics and Metabolism, Plant-biotic Interactions and Plant Developmental Biology.

The meeting will combine inspiring lectures from leading scientists with social events. Scientific student talks and posters will include a short synopsis of their group's interests and know-hows, providing a platform to get to know each other, encouraging scientific exchange and providing a platform from which ideally future collaborations will emerge.
